del profesional frente al uso de benzodiacepinas siendo
conciente de la dificultad que este tema conlleva. El cese del
uso de estos fármacos acarrea dificultades importantes como
son la falta de demanda explícita de tratamiento, la aparición de
alteraciones a medio y largo plazo y la falta de recursos específicos.
Mantener el consumo nos lleva a varias consideraciones
como son la aparición de reacciones paradójicas, de síndrome
de abstinencia o de aumento de dosis. Se nos plantea pues un
difícil elección, que no siempre podremos resolver, pero que en
todo caso debemos reflexionar.
Abstract: The main aim of this paper is to induce to a reflection on the
professional’s attitude in front of the use of benzodiacepines
even being conscious of the difficulties that this subject involves.
The ceasing of the use of these drugs carries great problems as
the lack of an explicit request for treatment, the appearance of
changes that extend to a half and to a long term and the lack of
specific resources. To keep on with the consumption lead us to
different considerations as the appearance of paradoxal
reactions, of the syndrome of abstinence or the increase of the
dose. So that, we have to face up to a very difficult choice that
we will not always be able to solve but that, in any case, we
have to think about it.
