Schizophrenia, intestinal permeability, toxic substancesAbstract
The presence of alterations in the intestinal microbiota is common in schizophrenia. The consumption of toxic substances can alter intestinal permeability and affect the gut-brain axis. The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of tobacco, alcohol and cannabis consumption on intestinal permeability in patients with schizophrenia.References
